The Other Side

Yet again the artist Dinko Stoev places at the center of his highly expressive painting the loneliness and pain of the small man. His paintings scream against apathy and emptiness – plagues of modern society. A society, which provokes the human psyche, laying bare fears, sins, and passions. "Dinko Stoev looks into the psychological abyss of man, bends toward his dark void, to recognize and reveal him." (Prof. Stanislav Pamukchiev)
Born in 1958, Dinko Stoev obtained a degree in painting from the National Academy of Art (class of prof. Ivan Kirkov). In 1994, he completed a specialization in the College of Arts in Bath, UK, through a program of the British Council.
The artist has participated in over 20 collective exhibitions in Bulgaria, Britain, and France, and his last solo exhibition here in Bulgaria was in Rayko Alexiev Gallery in 2013
Usually the author of large-format paintings, in "The Other Side" the artist presents 20 works executed with acrylic paints on paper that will not leave you indifferent.
